Hello everyone,
Just thought I would post a little update on my trapping experiences as of lately...
The weather has been crappy for road trapping. It's has either been raining, foggy, or way too windy. With the wind up and powerful I see plenty of birds, but none that are in trappable positions.
I plan to keep going out for an hour of so every night after but the rain has been ruining those plans.
If anyone knows any tricks for evening( 5-7pm) trapping, i would love to hear them!!
Just getting a little anxious as I wait to find the right size bird.
Wish me luck,
Josh

And So it Begins....
I plan on putting a lot more effort into this blog, BUT this first post will be a "fast forward" post with pictures and comments to bring everyone up to speed on my activities.
So, here it is... from mews construction to trapping in as few words as possible.

He had a cool tail..
Just to give you an idea of size... (and how tiny he was)
First Hen... (1150g)
(i cropped my body out because i was still in work clothes :P)

In the end all these birds were released. I am holding out for something bigger. Lets hope i made the right choice.
